Datalogic launches the new Powerscan PBT8300!

The PowerScan™ PBT8300 laser cordless reader is for customers who need an industry standard radio system with their cordless scanners in order to achieve mobility and versatility with their bar code reading applications, or who need compatibility with other RF components such as a Bluetooth® enabled Vehicle Mount Terminal (VMT). The PowerScan PBT8300 readers share the same features as Datalogic’s STAR Cordless System™ models with the exception being that this new reader is equipped with standard Bluetooth® 2.0 Wireless Technology.

The PowerScan PBT8300 joins the PowerScan™ 8300 series of scanners with the popular corded and STAR radio models and is not replacing any of these models. It includes a ‘basic’ wireless model with the PBT8300 (without display and keys), an ‘intermediate’ model with the display and 3-Keys keypad in the PBT8300-D model, and the ‘high end’ model which includes a display and full keyboard (16-Keys) with the PBT8300-DK. All models are available with Standard (SR) and Auto Range (AR) optics to offer the optimal reading depth-of-field in any specific application.
